Description
This medium sized tear drop pendant is made out of wrapped copper wire that has been hammered and then patinaed by hand, with a small bronze bead and a larger cobalt blue glass bead in the centre. The hammered copper add texture, and the patina adds a rich depth, leading to a unique rustic, weathered look.
The pendant is 1 3/4″ high by 3/4″ wide (4.5 x 12.5 cm) and made with 20 and 26 gauge copper wire that has been patinaed, burnished and finished with Renaissance wax, which gives it a satin finish while minimizing further patination. Keeping it dry and free from humidity and soap or harsh abrasives will help keep it’s finish intact.
It comes on either a delicate copper chain, 18″ long with a lobster clasp fastener.
